“The more you love your beautiful little weirdo self, the more you’ll find people who love it too”

My art has always been driven by a curiosity about how people connect. I was very shy growing up, so I never knew how best to communicate with those around me. But drawing people—observing them, and learning about them—that’s my way of connecting. Art, after all, has no language barrier.

STREET SMART: The Intersection of Art and Design in the City
I participated in this amazing group show that takes place at SVA Gallery in Chelsea, NYC with bunch of talented artists. I got to paint this bodega mural along with showing two books Pocket Size Guides. Thanks to Jamie and Jane for letting me paint this bodega mural I always wanted to paint, great help from the crew at the SVA gallery and everyone who stopped by.
Client: SVA Chelsea Gallery

I personally prefer free style murals if circumstances allow me, however when there's a timeline/limitation I certainly choose to trace my rough sketch onto the wall to prevent any surprises or mistakes so here I am tracing my very rough sketch before I jump into painting.
